Know what the assembly includes
A small table, drawer unit and large storage system can require very different amounts of time. I review the model and manufacturer instructions, including any anchoring or two-person requirements.

Prepare the room and the parts
Confirm delivery before setting the appointment. Keep the hardware and instructions together, allow space to work and say where the finished piece will go. Missing or damaged parts may prevent completion; the appointment should not depend on parts that have not arrived.

Heavy lifting, carrying large items upstairs, wall modifications and packaging removal are not automatically included. Mention these needs in advance. Work requiring two people may not fit an owner-operated visit. For uncertain scope, hourly work is $100 per hour with a two-hour minimum; the pricing approach is confirmed before starting.
